One day, my grandma brought home a remarkable discovery – soapberries, the little fruits indigenous people used to wash with before the invention of soap. With a simple rub, these berries lathered up like soap, yet they didn't bother my skin at all. Finally, I felt safe and comfortable in the shower, free from the discomfort I had experienced before.
